Topsy Turvy Review

First, I live in an area with a lot of wild raccoons and other creatures so having my tomatoes raised out of their range is a huge plus because they cannot ruin or eat my produce. Since the tomato plant grows toward the sun (upwards) they will never touch the ground, keeping them safe from harm's way. Although I do not mind getting down and dirty in the backyard, for some it may be an issue to have to bend over all the time to trim, water, fertilize and plant your tomatoes.

The Topsy Turvy eliminates this extra hard work if you put it at arm's reach. Personally, I like to hang mine a little higher so they are extra safe from critters and simply use my little giant to get up and water/fertilize my plant.

On the other hand, there are a few things you must consider before buying the Topsy Turvy. First, the Topsy Turvy is quite heavy once it is filled with dirt and watered so I recommend that you have a very strong hook and a sturdy place to hang it. While I can lift it on my own, you may also need a partner to help you put the Topsy Turvy on its hook once you have assembled it.

Another thing is that I have heard some people complain about the fact that the water runs through it very quickly and so you need to water your plant constantly. One way to fix this problem, is by getting a bottle punching a few holes in it, filling it with water and then placing it on top. This way you will have a drip-irrigation system that will keep your plant watered all day. Just make sure to place your Topsy Turvy somewhere that if it leaks it will not ruin anything.

To end, I just wanted to say that I am very pleased with this product and I am sure that you will be as well. If you have never tried hanging your tomato plants, then you should definitely give it a try. It has worked amazingly for me and I highly recommend this product to anyone.
